First of all thanks for the wonderful send off it is greatly appreciated. I have worn the tie with pride and even Pete's old shirt was on for gardening. Not to sure about the serenade, at least he didnt give me the trousers!!
It has been my utter pleasure and priviledge to play with and against you guys, some we won some we didnt, but in the end who actually gives a dam. Its been fun and thanks for the memories.

Great game Wilmslow - a really tough hard and very close game. If you wondered what the cracking noise was at the end of the game-it was the Skippers Fibia-he's out for six weeks but apologies for him making a meal of it-apparently in his spare time he plays SOCCER hence the rolling around and squealing. Apologies once again!

Guys,
it appears there were a couple of reasons for all that shrieking from Burnley. Not only has he broken his fibia, he has shifted his whole ankle joint with all the carnage involving tendons and ligaments that that suggests. The area needs pinning and plating but they won't do that for at least 10 days because of the swelling and risk of infection. After the op no weight bearing for 2 months..............Still. he got to watch the England match.

It was great news to hear that Phillippe was going to play for us. I had no idea he was interested. I only wish he had contacted me earlier. Maybe he can bring Jason with him after he retires next weekend!!!!
